“I was in surgery getting my chemo port put in and previously told the doctor that twilight sedation didn’t work on me. He was doing the surgery, and I heard him say mandril to the nurse. I asked him if he had just asked for the manual and whether he had done this surgery before. He asked if I had really just talked to him during surgery. Needless to say, we both scared each other and luckily for me, he had done the surgery over 2,000 times in his career.”
